Our boys and girls received toys, treats, so much more thanks to gift baskets donated by St. Xavier University last week.
The gifts were borne out of the University’s “Chartwells Inclusion Week,” which sought to celebrate the power of diversity and inclusion through a different focus each day. One day was dedicated to community, with a challenge to plan and implement a community outreach project and foster a sense of inclusion between organizations.
With Mercy Home selected as a recipient, our friends set to work collecting gifts for our kids, including water bottles, toys, snacks, beverages, and other items for our young people to enjoy.
“It was a moment of giving back to the community and we are so happy the boys and girls enjoyed the basket,” said Senior Director of Dining Stephanie Moye.
Our deepest gratitude goes out to St. Xavier for sharing such wonderful gifts with our kids!
