Elizabeth Sorice was promoted to Director of Education and Career Resources at the Walsh Girls Campus in July 2016 after becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in June 2016. Elizabeth previously held the position of Manager at the same campus, and this advancement reflects the expertise and skill with which she has approached our children’s educations. Elizabeth received her bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies from the College of Wooster. Upon graduation, Elizabeth worked at Action for Healthy Kids on policy related issues about childhood obesity, but quickly realized she wanted to work with youth one-on-one. Elizabeth began working at Mercy Home in April 2008 as a Day Coordinator and moved into the Academy a year later. During her time at Mercy Home, Elizabeth completed the University of Chicago‘s Social Service Administration Master’s program (MSW). Elizabeth oversees the education, vocation, and after school programming for the forty youth at our Walsh Campus.
